The Waterman Discount Mall is out in San Bernardino. Parking is exactly what you would expect. When you enter, you are greeted instantly by vendor stalls and signs directing you to the restrooms and food courts. This is a high traffic area and this is reflected in floors, etc. However, nothing appears dirty. While the vendor stalls may seem repetitive,(watch repair, shoes and clothing, especially T-shirts are very popular) there is something for everyone. It is definitely a place, where if you do not have a specific destination you want to carve out a fair amount of time for exploration. I was there to go to a watch repair spot, to pick up watches that needed repair and batteries. We did have to wait (but not long, only about fifteen minutes) which gave us a little time to wander and explore. All the vendors I encountered were polite, helpful and well versed in their products. Some places even handed out business cards. While crowded. people were polite and never too close. Many vendors had hand sanitizer out and visible.

Nail shop in there is not good AT ALL. Dirty, Unprofessional , Disappointed Initially, I was looking for something quick, and easy. Wait time wasn’t that long, and there was a few people there so I assumed it was good. Completely mistaken. I’m not trying to bash these ladies at all, (the lady I had was actually very kind) just to warn others before spending their money like I did. 1. They don’t speak a lick of English, Which is fine, until you tell them something to fix on your nails and they don’t understand at all. 2. Made me pay before the nails were done, actually halfway, then proceeded to not fix the nails after I paid 🫠 First and last time for sure Asked for French tip, got this. These photos are a day after I left that place, (I actually went home and fixed them up after this *filed more/shaped*)

HORRIBLE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE!! First and LAST time we set foot in this place! It should be shut down, it already looks abandoned! Can’t they afford a landscaper to make the outside more presentable?! The only reason I stepped foot in there was to follow our favorite Jewelry Spot that moved here from the Fontana indoor shut down. Needless to say that after getting quoted $198 to repair my Husbands bracelet then going to another store that repaired it for $10 this was the day we will be looking for a more local and reasonably priced jeweler! To top off the HORROR! Shopping somewhere that doesn’t allow you to go in with a stroller or children or allow you to try something on, not to mention one vendor literally blocked her entrance with a big cardboard box of items to prevent my toddler from walking in her store. On top of that it seems CASH is a must have because tap to pay or debit is not a thing in there, friendly customer service also is not a thing of existence in this facility! Please shop elsewhere.

It was great I bought a nice knife that would've cost a minor fortune somewhere else yet I got to utilize my voice to bargain and reason with the wares owner which made it seem more relaxed and personal instead of harsh and clinical. I also met someone there from Facebook Marketplace and purchased a decent vehicle for the price.
